Greek Tragedy by Euripides.

A group of Argive mothers and wives have come to Athens to ask King Theseus to bring about the burial of their sons and husband who are being denied it by their Theban conquerors.
The Suppliant Women transits between the intense plea of these women who are seeking to hold their loved ones for the last time, and the respect that a government should have for the life of its citizens. The play explores social and religious themes, such as justice, family, the role of women and the right to rest in peace.
