Beverley Weston is missing. His drug-addled wife Violet attempts to come to terms with his disappearance, whilst his scattered children are forced to return to their childhood home. In the claustrophobic setting of a small Southern American town in Oklahoma, hard truths are revealed which push them all to breaking point.

Augusto is a dark comedy which expertly examines the intricate interactions of a dysfunctional American family. In the midst of illness, addiction and deceit, there are still unexpected moments of humour to be found.
